About the Shop and it’s proprietress:

White Fox Bead Studio LLC is a bead shop created and owned by me, Gail DeLuca, a beadwork artist living in Maryville, TN. I grew up in Chicago, IL where I went to college and earned a BA in art and then let that stew for a number of years before finding my medium in beads. Along the way I married John, and worked in a number of different jobs while John’s military career took us all over the country. When we arrived in East Tennessee in 1998, we knew this was where we wanted to put down roots and stay.

The dream of a bead shop was realized on March 14, 2006 when I officially opened. The name White Fox came to me in a dream the very night I decided to make the plunge into becoming a small business owner.

In June 2007 I achieved certification in Precious Metal Clay, and am a member of the PMC Guild (and the newly formed local chapter of the PMC Guild!), the Blount County Arts and Crafts Guild, the Embroidery Guild of America, the Knoxville Gem and Mineral Society, the Blount County Chamber of Commerce and eWomen Network. I continue to take as many classes as my schedule permits, in the quest tobring new techniques to my customers. I continue to create jewelry and bead weave to relax. The shop keeps me too busy to do shows much anymore, but I have some of my beadwork available in the shop.
